TonDas presents a listening session and talk at Temporary Gallery.

The work focuses on Manheim, a town that had to give way to the Hambach open-cast mine. Between 2019 and 2024, TonDas gathered songs and field recordings in and around Manheim, tracing a place shaped by extraction, displacement and disappearance. The evening brings together sound, memory and preservation, listening to what remains of a town marked by the constant presence of the mine. The tape will be released on the Cologne-based label Südturm Records and will be available that evening
