PORTRAIT FORMAT PICTURES
PORTRAIT FORMAT PICTURES is the title of the exhibition with paintings by Christina Chirulescu, and it is as well the formal frame of what you will see.
The Rumania born artist presents her abstract paintings which focus on visualizing the process of their genesis. Traces of overpainting or faults can serve as motive as well as an incidentally found piece of paper. The subject are the interstices in the medium of painting which inspire various associations and interpretations.
