OKAY

In the exhibition "OKAY", Jan Hoeft presents an ensemble of emergency exit signs in the artothek - space for young art. Suspended from an expansive support system, they move motorised through the space, relate to each other and to the visitors or remain in self-referential patterns of movement. The choreography, which constantly moves between synchronicity and chaos, was developed by Hoeft in collaboration with the composer Andreas Eduardo Frank.

Jan Hoeft creates a melancholic world view in the artothek, in which moments of absurdity and lightness flash up again and again.
