IDYLL, founded in 2021, is a project space in Cologne Kalk curated by Almut Elhardt and Florian Egermann. IDYLL shows site-specific artworks that interact with the lively neighborhood. The area does not look like an idyll, but often feels like it. IDYLL, located in the Trimbornstrasse in Kalk between two public transport stations, comes with a big audience of passersby, and shows site-specific installations, window projections and performances. We aim to create a space for irritating and/or beautiful encounters with contemporary art.
