PERFORMATIVE WALK "The So-called Outside" and artistic information stand in the Inner Green Belt
With: DECHA, Melanie Grocki, Agnes Müller, I. S. Kalter, Stephan Idé, Ahmed Kamel, Kamala Dubrovnik, Marie Donike & Paula Erstmann
Meeting place: DER INFORMATIONSTAND
Innerer Grüngürtel, height Zülpicher Straße 70, Cologne
The performative walk "The So-called Outside" combines artistic contributions such as performances, readings, concerts and ephemeral exhibitions using public architecture such as platforms, terraces, flights of stairs, meadows and landscaped park areas as stages for the artistic interventions.
The walk takes place in a section of Cologne's Inner Green Belt motivated by the idea of a centrally located, shared space for AIC ON. Here, various artistic contributions are brought together, some of which have been selected in curatorial collaboration with AIC members as connection to the current exhibitions of the spaces. The contributions relate to the public space, respond to the corresponding locations and combine to create an experience of the so-called outside. The green belt becomes an AIC satellite and, thanks to the artistic intervention DER INFORMATIONSSTAND, at the same time a hub to all AIC venues: the artistic information stand, the public walk followed by a picnic connect the different threads from the different corners of the city.
