Simultanhalle

Simultanhalle Köln-Volkhoven e.V. has been presenting contemporary positions from regional, national and international artists for almost forty years. Analogue to the model-like nature of Simultanhalle’s architecture, the exhibition programme follows the spirit of sketches and experiments. The goal of the constantly changing team of curators is to combine current positions by established artists with those of largely unknown artists, particularly those that are conceived especial for this location. As the ageing building is currently closed due to structural damage, the programme takes place outside, with a focus on site-specific work.
