Adriana Schneider Alcure (co-founder of the Cordão do Boitatá carnival association, ADKDW member), Kiko Horta (musician and member of Cordão do Boitatá), Flavia Berton (manager and cultural producer) and Yá Wanda de Omolu (Candomblé priests) invite you to the ADKDW studio round table on. With input contributions, the political, economic and spiritual dimensions of the carnival in Rio de Janeiro are shown using the example of the Cordão do Boitatá association, with the invitation to participate in the discussion from the perspective and experience of the Cologne carnival.

The supporting program for the audiovisual installation kaɦ.na.vˈaw - spirituality, economy and politics offers the opportunity within the framework of a round table, listening sessions and a film series, the importance of the carnival in Rio de Janeiro and in particular the street carnival through the music of the association Cordão do Boitatá, recordings from Candomblé houses in Rio, video contributions and films, as well as discussing the connection to the Cologne carnival together with invited guests.
