Unconditioned spaces are appendix spaces - underneath, above or beside the hotel lobby, the office, the elevator. Attics, ventilation shafts, drains or atomic repositories are inhabited by substances, machines and other densities of the discarded. We want to separate these spaces as much as possible.
Air is pushed to its destined swamp.
In films, drains can be a refuge. Ventilation shafts are used as an alternative entrance to rooms under high surveillance. From abundant to abandoned, these motives are represented in relation to the conditioned space. Where the drama accrues. Ring ring. They significantly differ in temperature. Dorms on construction site. The outside is made forgotten the outside exists only through the window and the door with kick in the face.

We do like what the air does.
