We're happy to invite you to the sixth edition of AIC ON, the annual joint weekend of the coalition of Art Initiatives Cologne (short: AIC).
Starting with a prologue on Wednesday, June 8, at the kjubh Kunstverein, the Cologne art initiatives will present a joint program of openings, artist talks, performances, guided tours, and more until Sunday, June 12. On the weekend of June 11-12, more than twenty-three art spaces have joined forces for joint opening hours, inviting visitors to view their exhibitions from noon to 6 pm.

Off-spaces, project spaces, nomadic art projects, art associations, festivals—the independent art initiatives are a central part of Cologne's multifaceted art scene. Some have only been active for a short time, others for many years. They offer spaces for artistic experiments and new formats. In the network of Cologne art initiatives, artists, curators and cultural workers organize themselves in an alliance of solidarity.
